東京電力は24日、福島第1原発の処理水の海洋放出を始めた。「廃炉と福島の復興のため先送りできない課題」として、海洋放出の方針を決定して2年余り。政府は国際原子力機関(IAEA)の協力を得て安全性を訴えてきたが、風評被害を懸念する漁業者は反対姿勢を崩さない。環境省は25日、周辺海域で放射性物質トリチウムの濃度を調べるための海水採取を始める。東電も放出後に採取した海水の分析に着手。東電の結果は同日夕にも判明する。
