2023 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival takes place at Lotus Pond
for the first time.
Based on the characteristic landscape of Lotus Pond,
Iconic architectures are decorated with laser light.
Combine with tradition and technology,
colorful lights illuminate Kaohsiung.
To echo the Year of the Rabbit,
the topic for this year is “Rabbit and its friends”
All different kinds of light decorations light up Lotus Pond.
The most eye-catching decoration
is this huge machiko rabbit on the water.
It always attracts a lot of people no matter in the day time or at night.
Not only light decoration,
we also have food market and famous folk art performances.
