In the video where I talked about Shamisen and Koto, I asked a question about your favourite song. The reason I asked was that I wanted to see what songs I should play for you next. Today I will be playing a song from a #Ghibli movie Castle in the sky called "Carrying you" or Kimi wo nosete. I will play on Erhu and I will also explain a bit about how and why I learned Erhu. #Erhu is a very special instrument for me that has been with me for about 5 years now. I never thought I would like playing Erhu this much, but I am glad I gave it a chance back when I was studying in China. I am glad that I can play for you today, especially because I myself am a big fan of Ghibli movies. Playing Kimi wo nosete was a bit of a challenge in the beginning as I am not very used to playing second voice but I did my best. I hope you can enjoy this little performance.
