过去的两周里，金融市场发生了震惊世界的银行破产事件。我们亲眼见证了不是1家，不是2家，而是3家美国银行，几天内集中破产。整个破产潮，从提供加密货币业务的 Silvergate Bank 开始，这家银行最近6个月股价狂跌，直到上周3宣布破产清算。然后蔓延到服务科技新创公司的 Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) 也叫硅谷银行, 上周4单日股价下跌超过60%，有趣的是硅谷银行在周1还获得了福布斯美国最佳银行排名，当然现在排名已经被福布斯删除了，周五上午还给员工发了年终奖，结果当天中午就被FDIC强制关闭，进入清算程序。第3家倒闭的银行，是同样经营加密货币业务的 Signature Bank。按照资产规模计算，硅谷银行拥有2000亿美元资产，是仅次于次贷危机中破产的华盛顿互惠银行(Washington Mutual Savings Bank)的美国历史上第2大银行破产案，而Signature Bank是美国历史上第3大破产的银行破产。
这波银行破产的直接原因是银行挤兑。对于很多人来说，银行挤兑是老生常谈了，我们上次听到这个词还是在08年次贷危机时期。1929大萧条是由银行挤兑开始，08年次贷危机也是一样，一旦我们深入挖掘，你就会发现，目前的银行系统里面隐藏着一个还没有人察觉的定时炸弹，在人们对经济失去信心的情况下，整个银行系统有多脆弱。“大而不倒”这个固有印象，在未来的12个月之内将会经历严峻考验。包括Michale Burry，鲁比尼，马斯克等一众经济学家和企业家预言的，经济大萧条难道就要成真了吗？如果银行业倒闭潮持续爆发下去，引起系统性金融危机，我们普通人应该如何保护自己的财产不受损失呢？
