Summary :-
I'm a 22-year-old woman who's been married to my husband for four years. It may surprise you that I married someone in their 30s when I was only 18, but it wasn't a case of grooming. Initially, we had a Strangers With Benefits relationship, and we didn't know each other's ages. When we found out, I was already pregnant, and we decided to stick it out. My husband is an amazing person who takes great care of me and our daughter. He's big, sweet, and adorable, and I couldn't have asked for a better partner.
However, my mother has a different opinion. She hates my husband, but not for the reasons you might expect. My husband and my mother went to high school together in our small town, and she remembers him as being part of a gang and getting into fights. She thinks he's controlling me and keeps trying to drive a wedge between us by lying and making everything he does seem like a big deal.
For example, she's told me ridiculous lies, like how someone sent her screenshots of my husband's conversation with his supposed mistress, or how he doesn't love our daughter and me and is only using me for sex. She even planted underwear under our couch to try to make me think he was cheating. My husband is anything but controlling; he loves to play with us, pick us up, and slam us on the mattress. When he's not acting immature, it means he's stressed or depressed, so I love it when he acts like that.
