Corona infection has been wreaking havoc all over the world for the last one and a half years. So far more than 17 crore 79 lakh people have been infected in the two waves of corona, while more than 38 lakh people have died. According to health experts, mutations and new strains happening in the virus remain a matter of constant concern. Recently, the delta variant of Corona has been confirmed, which is considered dangerous in many cases. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has informed about another new variant of corona. WHO has told in its weekly report that a new variant of Corona has been found about Lambda. Lambda variants are reported to be found in about 29 countries. This variant has its origins in South America.
दुनियाभर में कोरोना संक्रमण पिछले डेढ़ साल से कहर बरपा रहा है। कोरोना की आई दो लहरों में अबतक 17 करोड़ 79 लाख से ज्यादा लोग संक्रमित हो चुके हैं, वहीं 38 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो गई है। स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञों के मुताबिक वायरस में हो रहे म्यूटेशन और नए स्ट्रेन लगातार चिंता का विषय बने हुए हैं। हाल ही में कोरोना के डेल्टा वेरिएंट की पुष्टि हुए है, जिसे कई मामलों में खतरनाक माना जा रहा है। इस बीच विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) ने कोरोना के एक और नए वेरिएंट के बारे में सूचित किया है। डब्ल्यूएचओ ने अपनी साप्ताहिक रिपोर्ट में बताया है कि कोरोना के नए वेरिएंट लैम्ब्डा के बारे में पता चला है। करीब 29 देशों में लैम्ब्डा वेरिएंट के पाए जाने की सूचना है। इस वेरिएंट की उत्पत्ति दक्षिण अमेरिका में हुई है।
