Jack Ma, one of the wealthiest people in the world and former executive chairman of Alibaba Group, made the whole world admire when pledge of delivering e-commerce orders within 72 hours anywhere in the world.

However, there is a number that Elon Musk gave that shocked the world more: "30 minutes".

Yes, SpaceX wants to take people from place to place on the planet, making most long-distance trips in less than 30 minutes and going anywhere around the world in under an hour.

So, what is the secret weapon of SpaceX to do that?

The developments suggest SpaceX's plan for intra-Earth travel is a key aspect of the plans for Starship. The rocket was first unveiled under the title "BFR" by Musk in September 2017, a fully-reusable rocket that could send over 150 tons or 100 people into space at a time. The ship would be used to start establishing a city on Mars as early as 2022, completing work by 2050. Its liquid oxygen and methane fuel would enable astronauts to refuel on Mars, then either return to Earth or continue out further.

Musk detailed plans for intra-Earth travel at the same event, which would enable passengers to get around the world in less than an hour. A flight from Los Angeles to New York, which would normally take five hours and 25 minutes, would take just 25 minutes with the Starship. London to Hong Kong, a ride that normally takes 11 hours 50 minutes, would take just 34 minutes.

Elon Musk recently has revealed a lot about the latest Super Heavy Booster rocket. It would soon increase its Raptor engine thrust by adding more into the mix, around 32 to 33 engines. The venture would also tweak out Starship's engines from 6 to 9 engines, having the total count of its engines at 42, supposedly to increase the power and capabilities both have.

While passenger planes travel up to 575 miles per hour, Starship will go more than 17,000 miles mph. And instead of flying above the clouds, it'll fly above the Earth.

The speed is possible because as soon as the rocket leaves the atmosphere, it can move faster than a normal plane, Musk said “The great thing about going to space is there is no friction, so once you are out of the atmosphere, it is smooth as silk — no turbulence, nothing. There is no weather, there is no atmosphere."

But How exactly will you feel when being on that flight?

I'm thinking of the happy faces of the passengers on two flights of Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic.
"I have dreamt of this moment since I was a kid but honestly, nothing could prepare you for the view of Earth from space," Branson, 70, said after landing, at a rare loss for words. "It was just magical. ... I'm just taking it all in, it's unreal."
The Amazon founder Jeff Bezos hailed “the best day ever” after completing that flight.

That feeling will definitely be even better when we enjoy the flight of Starship.
However, while flights to Mars would allow for enough cabin space for two to three people to comfortably share a room, the intra-Earth flights would hold 1,000 people with no space for amenities. And if you feel a little queasy, there won't be any toilets or other amenities like a kitchen galley.

It will feel sort of like Disney's Space Mountain roller coaster which means you'll need some sort of restraint mechanism.
