The dialogue between Lucius Malfoy and Harry in which he sardonically states they should hope Harry Potter is still around to save the day, and Harry's response that he will be there, was an improvisation by Jason Isaacs and Daniel Radcliffe, respectively, and was not in the original script. It was improvised since Jason felt it was completely out-of-character for Lucius Malfoy to simply let Dumbledore have the last word.
