Nogecho, located in the Naka Ward and informally known as Noge, is one of the most charming and cosy parts of Yokohama. This area is just a few blocks big, but packed to the rim with countless izakayas, bars and other restaurants. It's the place I personally go to on those rare occasions when I go out for a drink in Yokohama.
In this video, filmed in the early evening of a regular weekday, I walk through most parts of this area, passing most points of interest. I hope you can get a feeling of the streetlife and the charm of this hidden gem of an area.
Noge is located a few minutes on foot from Sakuragicho station, where the Yokohama Subway (Blue Line) and several JR lines stop.
