SPLATOON IS ONE YEAR OLD!!!~~~

Hey everyone! On this day, May 28th, last year, a great game was first released in Japan, and that game was Splatoon! You guys have no idea how many hours I've drained into playing Splatoon since 30th May last year (the Aussie release date), and I still can't believe Splatoon's been around for a whole year now! And so, to celebrate, I've prepared a Splatoon remix for you guys, although you probably could've guessed, given my uploads for the past few weeks! XD
As soon as I heard this song in the amiibo trailer last month, I just knew I needed to remix it! I've always preferred Callie over Marie (oh no, what did I just do? XD), and when I found out Tokimeki ☆ Bomb Rush was her solo, I completely freaked! So I've been working hard this month, in between study, to get this remix done! And I think it sounds pretty good!
So, this remix can be compared to my Pallet Town remix, merged with my Great Canyon remix, as you can see elements from both in this one. I don't know why, but the koto just sounded really great with this and I just had to use it! Seems like it's becoming my 'style' to incorporate the koto! In regards to composition, I haven't done much to the melody, but the chords and harmonies are all changed up from the original, as well as the tempo. I especially enjoyed the breakdown in the middle, and it's not just because I put Calamari Inkantation in there! Other than that, it's all pretty standard (electro) house!
Wow, it's been a pretty terrible month, hasn't it? School has been catching up to me and mid-year exams start this Monday, so I've been pretty busy lately with studies and stuff. But, luckily, I had a little free time on the side to work on this. I think it's pretty safe to say this is the longest I've worked on remix, since I started it after I uploaded Tokimeki ☆ Lullaby. I hope all the work's paid off! I can't believe we're at 2.5K subs and counting, I really can't thank you enough, especially since I've been a little inactive in regards to actual remixes! I hope you guys enjoy this one, and I'll hopefully see you in two weeks, when my exams are over!
