They had crazy adventures in search of Zeus' Thunderbolt, until they discovered that the Lightning Thief was Luke.
After finishing the task, the summer is also over, but Percy still tries to have a relationship with her but hits a wall. Sam knows that it's not over, that something is resurrecting from Tartarus, he calls her, until she goes crazy.
