French Melaleuca (French: mille-feuille, also known as Napoleon crisp, Napoleon cake) is an egg syrup dessert of French origin.
Traditionally, French Melaleuca is made up of three layers of meringue with two layers of cream, but sometimes jam is also used. The top is usually alternating white (made of sugar) and brown bars (made of chocolate).
