Legendary singer BJ Thomas talks about recording Burt Bacharach and Hal David's 70s classic #1 Hit "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head... The song won an Oscar for Best Original song for the iconic film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. It played during the iconic bicycle scene. B.J. almost didn't get to sing it and the song almost wasn't recorded because he had Laryngitis due to his alcoholism. He's been drinking and tried to get sobered up for this amazing opportunity. Burt Bacharach new he was the only choice so he stuck with him and the rest is history as the song has become an all time 70s classic.
