In this video, I'm passing some of the most well-known nightlife areas in Shinjuku. First, there's Shinjuku Sanchome, where there are lots of bars and restaurants where one can drink and dine alfresco. After that, I head to Golden-Gai, where there are dozens and dozens of tiny bars, some with just 3-4 seats each, located in a block full of tiny post-war-era buildings. In the end of the video I also walk around a few of the newer shopping districts of Shinjuku

It's still very quiet in Japan due to the current situation in the world. The number of tourists to this country is currently down by 99.9% (!). But when I shot this video, the emergency Status due to the ongoing situation had just been lifted.
