If the Church (Big C) doesn't do some self-reflection and take responsibility for causing spiritual hurt to many Christians, the people will continue to leave their local church hoping to have a relationship with Jesus on their own.

The Church (Big C) must take responsibility for those we've hurt spiritually.

This morning, we will be looking at the Gospel of Luke, verse 51
51 When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem;
Does Jesus want us to celebrate?
We need to detach from "stuff" and fill our lives with Jesus.
1. How do you stay connected with Jesus regularly?
2. What is your favorite passage of Scripture and why is this passage important to you?
3. If you could go back to your “New Christian” self and give one piece of advice, what would it be and why?
4. How have you seen your relationship with God grow over the years?
5. What was the most challenging moment you experienced in your life and how did you experience the help of Christ during this time in your life?
We all deal with conflicts one time or another, but how do we manage it? How does God expect us to manage it? Maricopa Alliance Church is a Christian and Missionary Alliance church.
1 The word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh the great city and cry against it, for their wickedness has come up before Me.” 3 But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. So he went down to Joppa, found a ship which was going to Tarshish, paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
The world wants Christians to stop praying. Jesus commands us to pray. Prayer is the fundamental way we communicate with God.

"Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt me" is a lie we have been told our entire lives. James tells us just how dangerous our tongues can be.

In this message, Pastor John discusses the negative effects of stubbornness.
After we accept Jesus as our personal Savior, we become His project to shape, mold and chisel away at. We are His work in progress.
A sermon on Jesus being our Savior
A sermon on Self Worth
A sermon on HOPE
A sermon on Self Control, one of the fruit of the Spirit
The only two constants in our walk are God and change.
