Freezing Genital Warts | How to Get Rid of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) on using Cryotherapy
Watch this video if you want to learn about a relatively quick method of genital wart removal. In this video, I’m going to show you how to get rid of genital warts with cryotherapy.
If you have noticed a cauliflower like growth on your penis, this could very well be genital warts. Genital warts are caused by a virus, human papilloma virus (HPV). It is spread by sexual contact. There are four subtypes of HPV that are important to know. The low-risk subtypes 6,11 are the ones associated with genital warts. The high-risk subtypes 16,18 are the ones associated with penile, oropharyngeal, and cervical cancer.
I'll also discuss two ways to prevent getting HPV. One is the good old condom. The other is a quadrivalent vaccine against HPV subtypes 6,11,16, and 18 called Gardasil. It has been proven to reduce genital warts almost 84% in men who received the vaccine.
