Lavrov says Russia will block G20 declaration if views are ignored, dimming India’s hopes of consensus
G20 under India’s presidency risks going down as first to conclude without a statement. Russia will oppose the final declaration at the G20 summit if Moscow’s position on Ukraine is disregarded, said foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, casting doubts on India’s aspirations to make its presidency a success with a joint communique.

दो दुश्मनों, रूस और यूक्रेन की वजह से भारत बड़ी मुसीबत में घिर गया है। रूस की तरफ से भारत को यह बात स्पष्ट तौर पर कह दी गई है कि वह जी-20 के साझा बयान में यूक्रेन का जिक्र हरगिज बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा। वहीं यूक्रेन की तरफ से दावा किया जा रहा है कि भारत ने राष्ट्रपति वोलोदिमीर जेलेंस्की के शांति प्रस्ताव पर हामी भरी है। जेलेंस्की का शांति प्रस्ताव क्षेत्रीय अखंडता और परमाणु सुरक्षा से जुड़ा हुआ है। रूस ने कहा है कि जी-20 के साझा बयान से यूक्रेन वाला पैरा हटाया जाए। वहीं यूक्रेन कह रहा है कि भारत उसके साथ है। अब भारत के सामने बड़ी दुविधा है कि दोस्त रूस और दुश्मन यूक्रेन से कैसे निबटा जाए।
