文化庁が3月27日、本庁舎を京都に移し、業務を開始した。旧京都府警本部を改修した文化庁京都庁舎（京都市上京区）正門に取り付けられた銘板の除幕式が行われた。

The Agency for Cultural Affairs moved its main office to Kyoto on March 27 and began operations. An unveiling ceremony was held for the plaque attached to the front gate of the Kyoto Government Building (Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City), which was renovated from the former Kyoto Prefectural Police Headquarters.
