After advocating the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, debate on this issue has started in the whole country. Meanwhile, it is being said that the Central Government may bring a bill regarding the Uniform Civil Code in the upcoming monsoon session of the Parliament. A parliamentary standing committee has also called a meeting of representatives of the Law Commission and the Law Ministry on July 3 on the recent notice issued by the Law Commission to seek public opinion on the UCC. The thing that is discussed more among all of them is the day of 5th August. There is talk in political circles that the BJP-led central government may present a bill on UCC in Parliament on 5 August. The Modi government also brought the bill to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August. Along with this, PM Modi also performed Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple on 5th August itself. If we look at the history related to the date of August 5 of the Central Government, then the possibility of this increases further.
When the process of removing Article 370 was going on from Jammu and Kashmir, no one was even aware of it and then on August 5, 2019, the government presented a bill regarding it. Once again there is more or less the same movement in the country. Again there is such a big preparation. Similar speculations and claims are going on. Top leaders of the country are engaged in probing the mind and mood of the people.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Modi) की ओर से यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड (UCC) की वकालत करने के बाद पूरे देश में इस मुद्दे पर बहस छिड़ गई है. इसी बीच कहा जा रहा है केंद्र सरकार संसद के आगामी मानसून सत्र में यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड को लेकर बिल ला सकती है. संसद की एक स्थायी समिति ने यूसीसी पर लोगों की राय लेने के लिए लॉ कमीशन की ओर से हाल में जारी नोटिस पर तीन जुलाई को लॉ कमीशन और कानून मंत्रालय के प्रतिनिधियों की बैठक भी बुलाई है. इन सबके बीच जिस बात की ज्यादा चर्चा है वो है 5 अगस्त का दिन. सियासी गलियारों में चर्चा है कि बीजेपी नीत केंद्र सरकार 5 अगस्त को संसद में यूसीसी पर बिल पेश कर सकती है. मोदी सरकार जम्मू-कश्मीर से अनुच्छेद 370 हटाने का बिल भी 5 अगस्त को लाई थी. साथ ही पीएम मोदी ने राम मंदिर का भूमि पूजन भी 5 अगस्त को ही किया था. केंद्र सरकार के 5 अगस्त की तारीख से जुड़े इतिहास को देखें तो इस बात की संभावना और बढ़ जाती है
