The $250BN Gulf Railway Plan #future

Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Oman are planning a 2,177 kilometer long Gulf Railway. The project will cost 250 billion dollars, boost transport efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions, uniting Kuwait and the UAE in only 3 hours. However, it has not started yet due to misaligned interests and financial challenges from volatile oil prices.
