"A Long Song of the Prosperity" uses a unique perspective to show the magnificent history of the fall of the Sui Dynasty and the rise of the Tang Dynasty through four parts: "The Decline of Glory", "The Overthrow of the Dynasty", "Paling the World" and "Towards the Prosperity". "A Long Song of the Prosperous Age" takes a unique approach and selects the turbulent fifteen years of the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. It adheres to the seriousness of a historical drama and is more legendary. The destruction of the Sui Dynasty has reference significance for the rise of the Tang Dynasty. Narrating history from both positive and negative aspects can more accurately explain the origin of Zhenguan's rule and the concept of governing the country in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, making the play ideologically superior to other historical dramas. It has brought a new wind to the current slump in historical dramas.
