Menzies Research Centre Senior Fellow Nick Cater says the 2050 energy roadmap is “shabby policy” and needs thorough external review.
“It’s just guess-work, really ... it’s really troubling to see that the energy regulator is agreeing not to do a separate consultation,” Mr Cater told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“They’re just going to take AEMO’s word for it.
“This is the problem with this whole thing.
“They’ve got the mind set on one particular solution and they’re pushing ahead with it, without any viable modelling.”
