FAO’s Corporate Environmental Responsibility Strategy for 2020-2030 created a roadmap: one of the objectives is to decrease energy needs and increase use of renewable energy.

This initiative aims to utilize the unused space on the rooftop to place solar panels which will generate large amounts of power to meet the demands of the FAO Representations premises energy consumption. This free on site electricity source will reduce the dependency on the national electrical grid, resulting in significant savings on monthly energy bills and finally the green office strategy will be implemented.

To promote this initiative FAO Bangladesh office installed solar panel systems on its roof top. The video is created to be featured on FAO Bangladesh website, social media channels as well as CSLI internal newsletters and FAO intranet pages; also on FAO main website and Greening the Blue website if possible.
