優美的鋼琴線條，細膩的編曲美感，精緻的場景設計，讓李星宇以《鯨魚馬戲團》專輯一炮而紅，網路音樂點擊次數突破百萬！從獨立音樂製作人、聲學空間設計師，到備受關注的原創音樂人，李星宇築造的音樂沿途，盡是奇幻風景。
1985年在北京出生的李星宇，音樂才華從大學期間漸漸嶄露，與好友組團SNP小生物，20歲時憑藉原創歌曲〈雨後的咖啡〉，跨海奪得2006年台北大地知音全球華人原創音樂大賽冠軍。2007年於中國傳媒大學錄音工程畢業後，分別爲梁曉雪、張萱等大陸歌手擔任專輯製作人，並持續在音樂、動畫、戲劇和電影等領域探索，逐漸轉變為個人風格獨特的音樂創作人。
〈落雨〉Raindrop
我始終是一個和雨無緣的人。無論在哪，總會帶來晴天，於是不斷被人們驅逐著。我躲在地球最南端的海邊，那裡風和日麗，一年四季都是如此。人們喜歡晴朗，喜歡陽光，他們認為雨天會帶來憂傷。可我並不快樂，有時候我躲在陰影下，聽著風搖響樹葉的聲音，想像著，有一場雨，落在頭頂的屋檐上。雨水在半空中匯成細流，滴嗒滴嗒敲打地面。我的腳趾被打濕，頭髮裡滿是水珠。嘴角嚐到的是甜味？還是苦味？帶有雲彩的香味？或是和海水一樣的鹹味？那會是怎樣一種感覺？也許夢裡，會遇見它吧。

Riding the waves and feeling the soft mist of ocean spray, whales long for the moment they find a partner to accompany them in the vast oceans.
In the bustle of a noisy amusement park, circus animals put on their show. But at the end of the day, when all the visitors are gone, who will be there to show the menagerie true understanding?
We are like the whales. We are like the circus animals. We are the Whale Circus, swirling around and letting the time pass. But when we feel we’ve swam so long without anyone, we start to look for companionship, for love.
But trying to find this love…does it make the ocean feel bigger? Does it make the zoo feel even wilder?
Xingyu Li ask these questions in his album, “Whale Circus”. “Whale Circus” is like a cinematic flight through the waves of the oceans and through the excitement of an amusement park. Of fireworks exploding and of rainy days with a cup of tea.
