What is romance? According to googles definition, romance is a feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love. It also means to court or woo. That’s cool for every day life but what does that mean in terms of literature? Webster says, romance is 1. A medieval tale based on legend, chivalric love, and adventure, or super natural. 2. A prose narrative treating imaginary characters involved in events remote in time or place and usually heroic, adventurous, or mysterious. 3. A love story especially in the form of a novel. Books that fall into the romance category are all of this things and so much more. As we get into the audiobook or today lets also take closer look into the romance side of reading.
