Chen Fenwan, an emerging artist from Guangzhou, is known for blending traditional Chinese paper cutting with contemporary art. Through intricate paper-cutting techniques and vibrant layers of colourful papers, she transforms plain sheets into maximalist three-dimensional artworks.
During her visit to Hong Kong, she not only created an exquisite paper-cut artwork that captures the city’s hustle and bustle, but also immersed herself in the rich arts and cultural events taking place along the Victoria Harbour — from Art Central to the enchanting light installation, “teamLab: Continuous”.
