Reviewing the Sony WF-1000XM5 true wireless earbuds, which boast the best ANC of any TWS buds in 2023. I've been testing the Sony WF 1000XM5 for a month now and here's my verdict on the noise cancelling, audio, battery life and beyond.

The Sony WF-1000XM5 are superior to any AirPods etc with their compact design and incredible noise cancellation. Even obnoxious traffic and loud trains are no match for these true wireless buds, which can eliminate or dampen most external sound. As for the audio side, these earbuds pump crisp, clear Hi-Res Wireless audio into your ears when paired with a compatible device.
Battery life is another highlight of the WF 1000XM5. Sony's true wireless buds can survive for over seven hours on a single charge, with fast charging thrown in too. Call quality is excellent, and the comfort levels are also up there with the very best.
That's my review of the Sony WF-1000XM5, but the price here in the UK is a little...steep. If you're after true wireless earbuds on a smaller budget, check out the likes of the Soundcore buds I recently tested.
