Tech Expert Trevor Long says the Optus service failure today has had “massive speculation” due to the company sending out lacklustre announcements.
“The biggest problem. The Optus announcements, every release they’ve made tells us nothing about what happened … what that causes is massive speculation,” Mr Long told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
Mr Long sat down with Ms Markson to discuss the network’s sudden outage, leaving many Australians in the dark.
Many using the Telco were left without a way to take cashless transactions after the internet was cut.
Phone lines were also down, leaving businesses unable to take calls from customers.
