苗栗縣三灣鄉大河村，舊稱「大河底」，曾經是砍伐樟樹，製造樟腦而繁營的聚落。隨著時化變遷，如今已是寂寥的小村。大河國小也因人口外流，學童人數減少而裁撤。大河村的大河派出所的庭院有一棵百年牛樟老樹，還有見證1935年關刀山大地震的震災慰靈碑。附近的八股農路，有一條楓之谷步道。
Dahe Village, Sanwan Township, Miaoli County, formerly known as "Dahedi", used to be a settlement where camphor trees were cut to make camphor. With the changes of time, it is now a lonely small village. Dahe Elementary School was also abolished due to the population exodus and the decrease in the number of school children. The courtyard of the Dahe Police Station in Dahe Village has a century-old Stout Camphor tree and a Earthquake Relief Monument that witnessed the 1935 Guandao Mounatin Earthquake. There is also a Maple Valley Trail on the nearby Bagu Farm Road.
