A former pre-med student with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Georgia, her next step, after graduating with honors, was to apply for medical school. However, a chance meeting with the VP of A&R at Jive Records, who wanted her to style one of his artists, quickly morphed into an entirely different career path.
