Nvidia's market value hit 1.83 trillion dollars at its peak on Wednesday, compared to Alphabet's 1.82 trillion at the same time.
The stock value boost comes days before the leading graphic card maker's fourth quarter results are due to be released on February 21st, which Wall Street expects to hit 11.5 billion dollars.
Earlier this week, Nvidia overtook retail giant Amazon's market value, with a 50% surge so far just this year.
It's now the third-largest American company and fourth-largest in the world by market value behind Microsoft, Apple and Saudi Aramco.
