Rumah Makan Sate Tegal H. Sadjim - Sate but Tegal style. A small town located near just in central java almost in the western province. The specialty is goat here. Fresh, not watered down. A quick toss in the satay sauce and then right on the fire. The Liver is a must order for me. The flavor when coated in the spicy kecap manis sauce combined with the strategic cut of the liver results in a smokey, soft piece of liver.

Rumah Makan SURYA BARU Masakan Padang - A street alined with Nasi Padang stalls, but I don't see how you could ever go wrong with choosing this stall. A combination of Nasi Padang staple dishes, but with the added bonus of workers who make the food taste even better. Don't forget to finish it off with an avocado shake and/or egg tea.

Bakso Terasa Benhil- Rojak comes in many forms. This place is a little extra special with it's "pisang buta" added to the mixture. Rojak is more complex than salty, sweet but it's something you could easily stop in this store for every day to snack on.

101 URBAN Jakarta Thamrin - A decent hotel, but the best thing is the central location in the city. Only 15 minutes from the train station with no traffic. They are also really nice and accommodating.
