This pattern combines the depth charge concept with the extremely buggy nature of the bird's nest pattern. Together, they create a highly productive fly that sinks incredibly quickly due to the two tungsten beads typically used in depth charge flies. Additionally, it presents a cool and unique appearance, with the larger bead forming part of the body and the smaller one creating a hot spot at the head. This fly is right up my alley, and you should definitely give it a try!
