Elon Musk's Flashing 'X' on Former Twitter HQ Disturbs SF Residents

A new 'X' sign was erected atop the headquarters of the social media giant formerly known as Twitter over the weekend — and the sign's blindingly bright lights already have some nearby residents expressing frustration.

Multiple videos of the situation have gone viral, with one user tweeting, 'This is my life now.'

To add to the controversy, X owner Elon Musk and co. are accused of installing the sign without proper permits. The city of San Francisco has issued a notice violation against the company, saying the sign could pose a safety hazard, among other issues.
