「ひな祭り」について（第二回）
三月三日は「ひな祭り」
ひな人形を飾り、
女の子の、健やかな成長を願う。
ひな祭りは、「桃の節句」とも呼ばれる。
「行事食」について。
ひな祭りの、お祝いには、
「行事食」も、欠かせないものですね。
「行事食」とは、
季節折々の伝統行事のときに、
いただく、特別な料理のこと。
ひな祭りに、いただく、定番の料理。
それぞれに、意味が込められている。
例えば、
『菱餅』 (ひしもち)。
菱餅の三色にも、
それぞれ意味があります。
『赤色』
くちなしの実の赤は、魔除け。
『白色』
菱の実の白は、清浄。
『緑色』
蓬の緑は、健康と長寿を意味する。
『ちらし寿司』
彩りもきれいな、ちらし寿司。
長寿祈願の、エビ。
見通しの良い人生を願う、レンコン。
健康と勤勉を願う。豆など。
縁起の良い、海と山の幸を彩りよく、ちらします。
他にも、
はまぐりを潮汁で、いただく。
はまぐりは、同じ一組の貝殻同士でないと、
ピッタリと重なることがない。
そのため、相性のいい相手と巡り会い、
仲睦まじく、暮らせることを願う。
そんな意味が込められている。
