The decision saw the hosts equalise at 1-1 from the spot at Parc des Princes and secure a vital point to remain above Newcastle in their group. Howe's side must now win their final Group F match against Milan – and hope that PSG fail to beat Borussia Dortmund – if they are to continue in the competition.
