Jimbocho, located in Tokyo's central Chiyoda-ku district, is home to close to 200 book shops, all located in an area just a few blocks big. In this video, I walk around in this fascinating part of the city. I cover the main streets as well as several of the smaller side alleys (where most of the interesting shops are located).
A few times every year, a book festival is held around here. If you are interested in vintage books in general, these areas must be on your bucket list. And if you manage to visit while the festival is held - well, then you can consider yourself extra lucky!
The walk starts next to Jimbocho station (Tokyo Metro) and ends at Ochanomizu Station (JR and Tokyo Metro).
