Yes, my good friend Bradley is back with us to talk two equally amazing M.O.T.W.'s in the form of the American Dragon vs Eddie Kingston from earlier this month in AEW as well as a total all-timer of a match from January 15th, 1999 All Japan in Big Van Vader vs Kenta Kobashi! What a time to be alive!! We talk all about these great matches, some backstory for each & rave on about exactly what it is that we both really liked about each of them. We also chat a little bit about Dune! We’re still in the most February February of all February, but your girls march on, cackling all the way. Dynamite this week was hmm…subpar, but we made the most of it it anyway with our admiration of new Best Friends member Jake Hager. Wardlow yelled at us for approximately 20 minutes, but he had a good clear enunciation so that’s something. But hey, Hangman and Swerve are still trying their best to tell us a story, and Christian remains the GOAT, the best in the biz, the only one who knows how to do it. Matt Maher, aka Imp, revisits the WWE week that was. Talking the horrific allegations made in the Janel Grant sexual trafficking lawsuit as well as the breaking news of Vince McMahon being under investigation by federal officials related to his sexual misconduct.

I made the decision to cover none of WWE's shows this week, as it felt a disservice to the sheer level of importance this lawsuit is to cover the week of WWE in any normal manner.

I plan to return to the usual format next week.

There's a new member of Anne's family, and we're so excited for her! After we hear the whole story and offer her warm congratulations, we turn our attention to the wrestling. Allie finds out that the Cope Open (or the Copleopen as Schiavone calls it) is an open challenge, not the opening of the show, which makes a whole lot more sense. In the title scene, Joe is still doing fabulous work, and we all swoon over Swerve's lavender eye shadow, and marvel at the lusciousness of Hangman's mustache. Then we take a little step back in time, and watch Sting and Darby's first meeting in the ring, and it was every bit as magical as we remembered. And morale is up everywhere, now that the Young Bucks are patrolling the hallways, keeping everyone in line. They've chosen to do this important work dressed as 90s teen comedy extras, and we bless and adore them for it. Plus--is the Women's division good now? The fuzzy duck on our ankles say MAYBE SO!

Funnily enough, yet another fellow Aussie, Jonathan is an artist, writer, cartoonist, curator & is the Director of the Rockhampton Museum of Art. Jonathan even curated an entire wrestling-art themed art show; ‘WrestleMANIA’ at the Rockhampton Museum of Art late last year. "The exhibition examined the enigmatic entertainment of professional wrestling in all its spectacle, psychology, and humour through the work of 20 contemporary artists across sculpture, painting, cartoons, and new media". We chat some amazing behind the scenes stories of this show (including a live-wrestling portion!), Jonathan's practice, what got him into 'Wrestling Art', what interests him about this sub-genre as well as who & what most inspires him to make it. A really fun philosophical chat about fine art, wrestling & all things in-between! Thank you so much Jonathan!!
