當法裔記者傅雷敦·賽博吉姆被困在伊朗的一個偏遠的小村莊中時，一個名叫薩拉的女子找到了他，向賽博吉姆傾訴她外甥女索拉雅的悲慘遭遇。原來，索拉雅的丈夫為了與她離婚，向法庭誣告她與別人通姦，在伊朗的法律體系下婦女的權益是最被輕視的，因此在不健全的法律系統和當地野蠻的司法系統下，索拉雅被處以“石刑”。就是將人的肩部以下全部活埋在土中，然後向露出地面的頭部投石將人處死。
這樣的故事在外人看來十分震驚但在當地卻是稀鬆平常。傅雷敦·賽博吉姆決心要將這裡所發生的一切告訴外面的世界，但前提是他必須得活著逃出這裡

When French journalist Freedon Cyberjim is trapped in a small remote village in Iran, he is approached by a woman named Sarah, who tells Cyberjim the tragic life of her niece Soraya. It turned out that in order to divorce her, Soraya's husband falsely accused her of committing adultery with others. Under the Iranian legal system, women's rights are the most despised. Therefore, under the unsound legal system and the local brutal judicial system, Soraya was "stoned".
