The ICC issued arrest warrants for top Russian commanders Sergei Kobylash and Viktor Sokolov for suspected war crimes in Ukraine. The Russian Defence Ministry said a Russian Su-27 fighter escorted an AWACS aircraft and two fighters of the French Air Force over the Black Sea. Ukrainian drones attacked a fuel depot at an iron processing plant in the Russian border region of Kursk, triggering a fire in a fuel tank. Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service Director said the US leadership disapproved of the Ukrainian attack on the Russian plane carrying Ukrainian POWs.
