The South Carolina Gamecocks beat the UConn Huskies, 64-49, to win the 2022 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Game; their second national title under Coach Dawn Staley. Destanni Henderson went off for 26 PTS, 2 REB & 4 AST and 3 3PM while Aliyah Boston added 9 PTS & 16 REB in the win. Paige Bueckers led UConn with 14 PTS & 6 REB for UConn in the loss.
