Allegations that some members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) were involved in the Oct 7 Hamas attack on Israel are not reason enough to suspend the agency’s funding, says senior politics and international lecturer Srinjoy Bose from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He tells CNA’s Asia Now that what has been said are only allegations against UNRWA, and the UN has committed to investigating these.
