2023年8月12日、南内町演舞場での阿波おどり振興協会の総踊りの動画です。徳島市阿波おどりの初日、数年ぶりに復活した特別観覧席から総踊りを撮影しました。総踊りの熱気を真正面から浴びる貴重な体験になりました。めっちゃ高かったけど笑
This is a video of the Awa Odori Promotion Association's general dance performance at the Minamiuchi-machi dance hall on August 12, 2023. On the first day of the Tokushima City Awa Odori Festival, I filmed the So Odori dance from the special bleachers that were restored for the first time in several years. It was a valuable experience to be exposed to the excitement of the So Odori dance from directly in front of the audience. It was very expensive, though.
Awaodori (Awa Dance) is one of the most famous traditional performing arts in Japan, with its history of more than 430 years. "Awa" is the old feudal administration name for Tokushima Prefecture, and "odori" means "dance". Awaodori Festival in Tokushima City is held from August 12 to 15, attracting over 1.3 million tourists every year.
