It's a very long tutorial so here is a quick navigation:
Part I:
00:00 - Introduction
02:55 - The gist of it / Getting the water look
12:35 - Creating custom emitters to sculpt your water
22:22 - Creating the Preperation Scene I did (this one: vimeo.com/59875224)
Part II:
28:05 - Creating the first shot in the Water Melon video
35:58 - Creating the second shot in the Water Melon video
Link to the custom emitter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eQsO6Q_RPw&feature=youtu.be
Somewhere between the 300 "emm"s in this video is a tutorial on how to create the water effect I used in my "Zack's Water Melon" Experiment, which you can see here: vimeo.com/27207586
Requirements: Trapcode Particular 2, Adobe After Effects CS6
Please note After Effectes CS5.5 and lower require the Cycore FX HD kit, which can't be obtained anymore.
The chroma shift will be explained in another short tutorial coming soon!
EDIT: Well after recording the tut I realised Lloyd Alvarez already did one on that topic.
