「ひな祭り」について（第一回）
三月三日は「ひな祭り」
ひな人形を飾り、
女の子の、健やかな成長を願う。
ひな祭りは、「桃の節句」とも呼ばれる。
「桃の節句」「節句」の「節」には、
「季節の変わり目」という意味がある。
昔から日本では、
季節の節目の日に、
豊作や無病息災、子孫繁栄などを願い、
様々な行事が行われてきた。
節句の代表的なものが、
一年に５回ある「五節句」です。
1月7日 人日（じんじつ）の節句＜七草の節句＞
3月3日 上巳（じょうし）の節句＜桃の節句＞
5月5日 端午（たんご）の節句＜菖蒲の節句＞
7月7日 七夕（しちせき）の節句＜笹の節句＞
9月9日 重陽（ちょうよう）の節句＜菊の節句＞
これら五節句のうち、
3月3日の「上巳（じょうし）の節句」が、
今日の「ひな祭り」になった。
