Dubai International Airport (DXB) said on Wednesday (April 17) that it was experiencing significant disruptions due to bad weather and was working to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
Flights have been delayed or diverted whilst some crews have been displaced, DXB said in a statement, adding that it would take some time to get operations back to normal.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) observed unprecedented rainfall on Tuesday, marking the highest recorded rainfall in the last 75 years since climate records started in 1949.
