In this short walk, I'll take you from Otemachi Station, one of the major hubs in the business district of Marunouchi in central Tokyo, to JR Tokyo Station, perhaps the most beautiful train station in all of Japan.
The area in front of Tokyo Station was recently redesigned and now houses a big plaza where people can meet and enjoy the sunset like they were doing when I filmed this walk.
Open spaces and squares like this are actually quite rare in central Tokyo, so I'm very happy they managed to squeeze one in at such a prime location in downtown Tokyo.
Apologies for the wind noise that appears at some times in this video, I didn't actually plan to film this day, but the late afternoon sunlight was so beautiful I decided to do it anyway. Unfortunately, my proper mic was left home...
