Yeon Jeon-su /composer, pianist, singer, and a school music teacher
Yeon Jeon-su's debut album, 《Sentimental Green》 (2005) had quickly brought her a considerable amount of recognition and calls from major companies in South Korea, including Samsung Fire, Shinhan, and SK II.
The song, 'Smile, Smile, Smile' from her 2nd album 《Flower》, is still widely known as her best hit song, along with 'Perhaps love' from her 3rd album, titled 《Dandelion by the Breeze, which was No.1 hit track on an online chart for weeks. Her songs can be heard as background music in some of the best known Television/Radio shows throughout South Korea, including MBC's 'Infinite Challenges,' and SBS's 'Running Man.'
Ms. Jeon's music often bases itself on her relationship with the children she teaches. Much of her inspiration come from her experience with them, which explains why her music is often associated with words such as 'pure', 'green', transparent', and 'childlike'.
