It's a super hot summer over here in Australia and I've been feeling a little uninspired lately, but suddenly some of the summer heat got my creative juices (ebbing and) flowing! So here's a long-awaited remix of Splatoon 2's 'Ebb & Flow'!
Not too much to say here. I felt it was appropriate to tackle a Splatoon theme with a tropical house vibe, and I'd been sitting on an Ebb & Flow remix for a while. So I decided to change it up, adapt the melodies and voila, you get a remix! I'm really proud of some of the sound design in this one, since I used quite a bit of in-game SFX to make this work the way it does, for example, I used the bullet hitting sound as an 808 snare! Along with some bongos, pan flute and steel drums and we've got ourselves a neato tropical vibe!
Definitely was feeling some huge blockage in my creative mind for a while, and I almost thought this was never gonna get done. But somehow I pulled it off, and I got up 2 uploads this month. Hopefully I can stick to that for future! Thanks for all of the support everyone and enjoy!
