大穀資料館的地下採掘場遺址是1919年（大正8年）到1986年（昭和61年）的約70年，挖掘出大穀石形成的巨大的地下空間。其寬度達到2萬平方米（140m×150m），寬度甚至可以容納一個棒球場。另外，坑內年平均氣溫在8℃左右，有地下大冰柜的感覺。戰爭期間作為地下的秘密工廠，戰後作為政府米的儲藏庫被使用，現在，作為音樂會、美術展、戲劇院、地下的教會，另外作為照片和電影的工作室也備受矚目。電影暗殺教室，浪客劍心，假面超人等拍攝地。

The underground excavation site of the Otani Museum was about 70 years from 1919 (8th year of the Taisho) to 1986 (Showa 61), and the huge underground space formed by the Otani stone was excavated. It has a width of 20,000 square meters (140m × 150m) and can even accommodate a baseball field. In addition, the annual average temperature in the pit is around 8 °C, and there is a feeling of underground large freezer. As a secret factory in the middle of the war, it was used as a storage for the government in the post-war period. Now, as a concert, an art exhibition, a theater, an underground church, and a studio for photographs and movies, it is also attracting attention. Movie assassination classroom, Rogue sword heart, masked superman and other shooting locations.
大谷資料館の地下採掘場跡は、１９１９年（大正８年）から１９８６年（昭和６１年）までの約７０年をかけて、 大谷石を掘り出して出来た巨大な地下空間です。その広さは、２万平方メートル（１４０ｍ×１５０ｍ）にもおよび、野球場が一つ入ってしまう大きさです。 なお、坑内の年平均気温は８℃前後で、地下の大きな冷蔵庫といった感じです。 戦争中は地下の秘密工場として、戦後は政府米の貯蔵庫として利用され、現在では、コンサートや美術展、演劇場、 地下の教会として、また写真や映画のスタジオとしても注目を集めています。
